the topeka railroad roots run deep
Look no further than Cyrus K. HollidayThe man who founded our Capital City. Holliday helped start the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe railroad in 1868. This powerful rail line ignited Topeka's growth, helped establish the Topeka based Harvey Houses - the first franchised fine dining and hotel accommodations in the country, and put our city on the map as an important transportation hub.
Iron Rail Brewing pays homage to this rich railroad tapestry that runs through the very veins of Topeka. Our presence helps tell the story of a strong city, coming back to life, revitalized and ready to serve its citizens in Topeka's historic downtown. Join us as we honor the noted legacy of Topeka's past, and look forward to a vibrant 21st Century Topeka!
locally awardedWhat an honor! Iron Rail Brewing was crowned Best New Business in Topeka by the Topeka Capital Journal in 2019. #TopekaProud

Growing up with a home brewer, Noah fell into the industry naturally. Watching his dad concoct unique recipes and observing the scientific process was fascinating and inspiring. From the preparation, to the brewing, to eventually the tasting, Noah’s interest grew in every aspect. As he is enmeshed in the daily activities at Iron Rail, his passion has grown with his knowledge, and his personal style has emerged. He is well known for his original recipes such as the Peach Cobbler Blonde Ale and his array of popular IPA’s that hit the spot for all beer connoisseurs. Noah now serves as Iron Rail’s head brewer, where he continues to perfect his craft. Come in for a taste - Prost!
